Eclectic. If I had to choose just one word to describe myself... eclectic would have to be it!
My interests are so wide and varied! I'm not one of those individuals who has "types". My mother decorated her entire home country. Certain folks exclusively listen to blues music. Some people only read mystery novels. There are girls who only date tall, dark & handsome. Shall I go on?
How boring! How bland! How mundane!
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against country decor, blues music, suspenseful page turners, or tall dark and handsome. But...what about all the other "types"? Every room in my apartment has a theme. On my i-pod you will find tracks varying from new age to psychedelic pop. Books... I have to switch it up! You name it, I read it. How about blue-eyed blonds? (Here, I smile to myself, since my husband is a blue-eyed blond.)
I think you get the picture. Variety is the spice of life! Indeed!
I have pondered about blogging for quite some time. I initially wanted to create a music blog. However, I have so many other interests to share! Hence... my eclectic blog.
So, I invite you to share my eclectic world. I hope that everyone enjoys, at minimum, an occasional song, recipe, or book recommendation.
Bear with me! I am new to this whole blogging business! I am winging it! Learning as I go!
